CARBON NEUTRALITY

Matic Group aims to have its fleet of trucks to be completely net zero by 2050, with the transition towards fossil free fuel combustion commencing in 2024.

We plan to introduce a small number of electric & hydrogen vehicles from 2024 initially within the metro-based fleet PUD fleet.

We continue to work closely with our manufacturing partners such as Volvo trucks in design and efficiency improvements to further compliment the total carbon intensity reduction of freight delivered.
By 2030, we expect that electric/hydrogen vehicles will account for 30% of the fleet.

For specialised remote long distance & ultra heavy haulage applications we aim to transition Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles to run on sustainable biofuels or other fossil-free fuels, including hydrogen.
