Real-time Dedicated Driver Monitoring

To champion the cause of driver safety and continuous improvement, the Matic Group operates the Matic Support & Control Centre or aptly referred to as the SCC.

The SCC is designed to monitor driver activities in ‘real time’. With a dedicated monitoring team that staff the Centre during all hours of transport operations, the team ensures all driving operations are monitored, measured and informed. The team they facilitate immediate intervene in the event that a fatigue or driver distraction event.

The SCC is responsible for the monitoring of 150 fleet vehicles across the country, spanning five (5) states and ultimately, ensuring the safety of our driver staff as we collectively travel some 10 Million km per annum in service of our client’s operations.
